Wildcard License Keys

In July 2024 we introduced wildcard license keys, allowing you to use a wildcard character '*' to specify a range of hosts instead of individual ones.

Wildcards have a number of limitations:

  • Wildcards can not be used directly after the TLD, for example *.com is not allowed.
  • There can only be a single wildcard in the hostname.
  • The wildcard character must be the first component of the hostname.
  • Only a single wildcard URL is allowed per license key.

To ensure that the wildcard functionality is used within our terms of service, we enable them on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our support team via the Customer Portal if you are interested in this capability.
